Software Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of advanced Snowflake Cortex AI solutions, integrating AI/ML, semantic layers, and secure authentication to deliver high‑quality, compliant data services across the enterprise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement Snowflake Cortex AI use cases, including Cortex Search, Cortex Analyst, and Snowflake AILLM functions.
- Develop semantic layers using Snowpark Python UDFs and prompt engineering to enhance AI response quality.
- Integrate MCP Model Context Protocol servers with RBC Assist, configuring Active Directory for secure authentication and authorization.
- Define and enforce model governance, risk, and compliance standards, producing white‑paper documentation, validation, bias monitoring, and explainability reports.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align AI initiatives with RBC’s AI risk framework and enterprise data strategy.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Snowflake, Snowpark, and Python for data engineering and AI workloads.
- Proven track record in building AI/ML pipelines, semantic layers, and prompt‑engineering solutions.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, secure authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience in model governance, bias monitoring, and compliance documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
