As the Director of Compute & Infrastructure FP&A, you will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis team that supports the compute and infrastructure functions at openai. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and analyses that inform business decisions. You will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports, and for identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and analyses to support business decisions
- Lead the financial planning and analysis team to ensure accurate and timely financial data and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of financial plans and results
- Identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on compute and infrastructure
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts
- Strong technical skills in Python, AWS, and cloud computing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop actionable insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial plans and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
