Software Engineer
Lead strategy, planning and execution of shared aircraft and business technology platforms, driving cross‑functional alignment and delivering scalable, secure infrastructure across all aircraft models.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the common platform strategy, ensuring alignment with aircraft, product, and service teams.
- Oversee multi‑program delivery, prioritizing initiatives that enhance platform reliability, security, and scalability.
- Architect and maintain cloud, networking, and automation solutions (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes) to support aircraft and business processes.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and monitoring frameworks to accelerate deployment and reduce operational risk.
- Collaborate with Platform Chief Engineers, Product Line Managers, and IT to integrate new capabilities and retire legacy systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps leadership roles.
- Proven track record managing large, cross‑functional technology programs.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi).
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience in regulated aerospace or high‑reliability environments is a plus.
