Lead a high‑impact Platform Engineering practice, driving cloud‑native architecture, automation, and scalable services across global teams using Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS/Terraform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the platform strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
- Architect, build, and maintain cloud‑native services on Kubernetes, leveraging CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Mentor and grow a distributed team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations to deliver secure, resilient, and high‑performance solutions.
- Drive adoption of best practices in observability, monitoring, and incident response across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Proven track record building and scaling CI/CD pipelines and IaC frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with security, compliance, and performance optimization in cloud environments.
