Lead the delivery of IT services for a high‑security aerospace site, overseeing Windows infrastructure, virtualization, network support, and cloud operations while ensuring compliance with defense‑grade standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct day‑to‑day operations of the site’s IT environment, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms.
- Provide tier‑2/3 support for network, storage, and cloud services, ensuring 99.9% availability.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, security controls, and compliance procedures aligned with defense contracting requirements.
- Lead a team of IT specialists, coordinating training, performance reviews, and on‑call rotations.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement for hardware, software, and cloud services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive IT management experience in a regulated or defense‑related environment.
- Strong expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper‑V).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and cloud infrastructure issues (AWS or Azure).
- Experience implementing ITIL/ITSM processes and maintaining security compliance.
- U.S. citizenship with eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
