Software Engineer
Lead the design, analysis, and validation of digital signal processing and RF subsystems for space payloads, leveraging MATLAB, Python, and FPGA tools to meet stringent performance and reliability requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and validate digital signal processing algorithms for satellite payloads using MATLAB and Python.
- Develop and test RF front‑end components, including mixers, amplifiers, and antennas, ensuring compliance with mission specifications.
- Implement FPGA‑based signal processing pipelines and perform hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to integrate RF and digital subsystems into complete payload architectures.
- Document design decisions, test procedures, and results for technical reviews and certification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in digital signal processing and RF system design for space or defense applications.
- Strong programming skills in MATLAB and Python; familiarity with C/C++ and FPGA development.
- Knowledge of software‑defined radio platforms and EM simulation tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
