Software Engineer
Design, develop, and maintain engaging digital learning experiences using modern authoring tools and web technologies to empower staff and volunteers to deliver their best for children and families.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design interactive eLearning courses that align with learning objectives and organizational goals.
- Author and publish courses using leading eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and ensure compatibility with SCORM, xAPI, and the LMS.
- Implement responsive web design principles to deliver consistent learning experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Integrate multimedia assets, animations, and interactive elements to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
- Analyze learner feedback and performance data to iterate and improve course content and delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in instructional design and eLearning authoring for adult audiences.
- Strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for course customization and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Cornerstone) and learning standards such as SCORM and xAPI.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
