Lead the documentation team across multiple projects, driving business transformation and ensuring compliance through effective document management, SharePoint governance, and data governance practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team responsible for creating, maintaining, and archiving project documentation across a portfolio of initiatives.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve document management processes, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee SharePoint architecture, permissions, and workflows to provide a secure, searchable, and user‑friendly information repository.
- Drive business transformation initiatives within support functions by identifying automation opportunities and streamlining information flows.
- Conduct regular compliance audits, generate reports, and enforce data governance policies to mitigate risk.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in document management, information governance, or a similar role within a multi‑project environment.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint (online or on‑premise), including site architecture, metadata, and workflow automation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver transformation projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on compliance, data quality, and process optimisation.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in Project Management, Information Management, or related fields are preferred.
