About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automated workflows and scripts (Python, Dynamo) to streamline design and construction processes across highways, rail, utilities, and water projects.
- Create and maintain GIS‑based spatial models and BIM data structures to support asset planning, design coordination, and lifecycle management.
- Perform data analytics and visualisation to extract insights from project datasets, informing decision‑making and performance optimisation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate emerging technologies (e.g., AI, cloud services) into digital delivery pipelines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on digital tools, standards, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Geomatics, or related field with 2–4 years of digital engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and familiarity with BIM platforms (Revit, Navisworks) and GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data processing, visualisation, and automation of engineering workflows.
- Ability to work independently on complex digital solutions while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward adopting new technologies.
