Software Engineer
Digital Engineer responsible for supporting and optimizing Manufacturing Execution Systems, OEE tracking, production reporting, and digital workflow solutions within a consumer goods environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to ensure reliable data capture and real‑time visibility of production processes.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics, identifying root causes of downtime and inefficiency.
- Develop and automate production reporting dashboards and digital workflow applications to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate MES data with ERP and other enterprise systems.
- Provide technical support and training to shop‑floor personnel on digital tools and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience with MES platforms and OEE monitoring in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis, SQL queries, and scripting languages such as Python.
- Knowledge of digital workflow design and automation tools.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver scalable solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and effective communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
