Job Description
Primary Function of the Position
Product Managers play a critical role in Ion’s success by enabling cross‑functional teams to deliver differentiated, life‑changing products and solutions that improve patient outcomes and customer experience. The Product Manager, Digital Applications is responsible for driving the development, launch, and lifecycle management of a digital application platform from initial investigation to commercialization and through end‑of‑life.
Working across multiple product franchises and geographies, and in close partnership with Cross-Functional Application Development and Commercial teams, this role serves as the central point of contact for digital applications. The Product Manager ensures that products meet customer, clinical, and business needs while balancing performance and usability considerations.
Operating with moderate independence on complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives, the Product Manager provides strategic input into portfolio and roadmap development, translates voice‑of‑customer and field insights into actionable product requirements, and crafts compelling, data‑driven product narratives to influence tradeoff decisions and stakeholder alignment. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to connect big‑picture strategy to disciplined execution are essential to success in this role.
This position reports to the Director of Endoluminal Product Management and acts as an advocate for digital application excellence across the Ion endoluminal portfolio.
