About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accessibility strategy, policies, and guidelines aligned with WCAG 2.2 and legal requirements.
- Lead audits, remediation, and testing of web, mobile, and digital products using automated and manual tools.
- Collaborate with UX, design, development, and product teams to embed accessibility into the design and development lifecycle.
- Provide training, workshops, and mentorship to cross‑functional teams on inclusive design principles.
- Track metrics, report progress, and continuously improve accessibility maturity across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in digital accessibility, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
- Deep knowledge of WCAG, ARIA, and assistive technologies (screen readers, voice control, etc.).
- Hands‑on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and accessibility testing tools (axe, Lighthouse, NVDA, JAWS).
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with agile development processes and continuous integration pipelines is a plus.
