Security Engineer
Senior DevSecOps Engineer designing secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments, automating release workflows, and integrating security controls across mission‑critical software environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines that enforce security best practices and compliance across multiple deployment environments.
- Build and manage Kubernetes‑based deployment tooling, ensuring high availability, scalability, and secure configuration of containerized applications.
- Integrate Git‑centric workflows with automated code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and policy enforcement to bridge development and operations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and enforce security policies, incident response procedures, and continuous monitoring strategies.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using IaC tools, ensuring repeatable and auditable deployments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Kubernetes environments.
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and automated pipeline orchestration tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
- Strong knowledge of container security, vulnerability scanning, and compliance frameworks (NIST, DoD).
- Experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical setting.
