Security Engineer
DevSecOps Engineer driving secure, automated delivery pipelines and infrastructure across cloud platforms, blending software engineering, security, and operations to build resilient, scalable enterprise applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that integrate security checks, automated testing, and deployment across cloud environments.
- Develop and enforce infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools to provision secure, scalable resources.
- Implement containerization strategies with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring secure image builds, registry management, and cluster hardening.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed security controls early in the SDLC, including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance monitoring.
- Automate routine operational tasks with scripting (Python, Bash) and orchestrate workflows using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Argo CD.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health, troubleshoot incidents, and conduct post‑mortem analyses to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevSecOps or related roles, with a strong foundation in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tooling, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Hands‑on experience with security automation, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and familiarity with monitoring/alerting solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
