Security Engineer
DevSecOps Engineer responsible for embedding security into CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and containerized deployments, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery across the SDLC.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines that integrate automated security checks and compliance controls.
- Embed security controls into DevOps workflows, ensuring code, build, and deployment processes meet industry standards.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud infrastructure, containers, and application deployments.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to remediate security findings and enforce secure coding practices.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, providing root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement recommendations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud security practices.
- Hands‑on expertise with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and associated security services.
- Proficiency in vulnerability scanning, threat modeling, and secure configuration management.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
