Security Engineer
Seeking a DevSecOps Developer to design, implement, and automate secure CI/CD pipelines on AWS, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python while integrating static and dynamic application security testing.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines that embed security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources securely and efficiently.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring compliance with security best practices.
- Integrate SAST and DAST tools into pipelines, monitor findings, and work with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Develop custom scripts and automation in Python to streamline security testing, reporting, and compliance checks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in DevSecOps or related roles, with a strong focus on cloud security (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid experience writing Terraform modules and managing infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of application security testing tools (SAST, DAST) and ability to integrate them into automated pipelines.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and familiarity with version control (Git).
