DevOps Support Engineer focused on maintaining and enhancing a Salesforce-centric DevOps platform, ensuring seamless CI/CD pipelines, automation, and customer support using Git, AWS, and related tooling.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tier‑2/3 support for customers using the Salesforce DevOps platform, troubleshooting issues across CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and integrations.
- Collaborate with engineering to diagnose and resolve platform bugs, performance bottlenecks, and configuration errors.
- Automate routine support tasks using scripting (Python/PowerShell) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Document solutions, update knowledge base articles, and create best‑practice guides for users.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, ensuring 24/7 availability for critical incidents.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or support roles within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation) and containerization (Docker).
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and troubleshooting complex system issues.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric mindset.
