ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
The National Resident Matching Program ® (NRMP®) is a private, not-for-profit organization established in 1952 to provide a uniform date of appointment to positions in graduate medical education (GME) in the United States. The NRMP is not an application processing service; rather, it provides an impartial venue for matching applicants’ and programs’ preferences for each other consistently. The NRMP conducts the annual Main Residency Match, which encompasses 40,000 applicants for more than 25,000 positions in core residencies, as well as Matches for fellowship positions in 55 subspecialties through its Specialties Matching Service®.
POSITION SUMMARY
As the Manager, DevOps you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and evolving DevOps practices, platforms, and processes to enable reliable, scalable, and efficient software delivery across the organization. Operating without direct supervisory authority, the DevOps Manager leads through influence, coordination, and technical judgment. In this role, you will act as a technical and operational leader, ensuring strong alignment between development, QA, and operations teams, while driving automation, standardization, and continuous improvement. You will also ensure that CI/CD pipelines, environment management, release processes, and operational practices enable high-quality and predictable delivery outcomes. AWS is the primary cloud platform for this role. This position operates in a fast-paced, complex software environment where system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency are critical.
