Software Engineer
Lead the DevOps team for BTP Security Engineering, driving secure, automated infrastructure for Key Management Services using Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the DevOps strategy for BTP Security Engineering, focusing on Key Management Service (KMS) reliability and security.
- Architect, build, and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters on AWS, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with security engineers to embed security controls, compliance checks, and hardening practices into the delivery pipeline.
- Mentor and lead a cross‑functional team of engineers, fostering a culture of automation, observability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform in production environments.
- Strong background in CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Deep understanding of security best practices for cloud native workloads, including IAM, encryption, and vulnerability scanning.
- Proven leadership experience guiding DevOps teams and driving large‑scale automation initiatives.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across engineering, security, and product teams.
