About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for low‑latency trading applications on Linux platforms.
- Automate manual processes and release management using Python and shell scripts to improve end‑to‑end delivery efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze requirements, assess application impact, and ensure seamless integration with equities market connectivity.
- Lead troubleshooting and performance tuning of production systems, ensuring high availability and minimal latency.
- Document best practices, develop automation playbooks, and mentor junior engineers on DevOps and automation techniques.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or software engineering within financial services, preferably equities trading.
- Strong proficiency in Linux administration, Python scripting, and shell scripting.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Solid understanding of network protocols, market data feeds, and low‑latency system design.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a track record of automating complex workflows and improving deployment reliability.
