Devops Engineer
DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python for mission‑critical defense software.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage highly available AWS infrastructure supporting mission‑critical applications.
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform, ensuring reproducibility and version control.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and improve reliability through observability tools.
- Collaborate with software engineers to embed security best practices and compliance requirements into the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.).
- Proficiency in container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python for automation and tooling.
- Experience defining and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with pipeline tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
