Devops Engineer
DevOps Engineer driving scalable, secure infrastructure for a global algorithmic trading firm, leveraging AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to automate deployments and ensure high availability of trading platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS for real‑time trading applications.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and Terraform to automate code delivery and infrastructure provisioning.
- Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring zero‑downtime deployments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement proactive scaling and resilience strategies.
- Collaborate with software, security, and compliance teams to enforce best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of DevOps experience in a high‑frequency trading or financial services environment.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash, with experience automating complex workflows.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD tooling.
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration, networking, and security best practices.
