About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and document real‑world DevOps and backend incidents, transforming them into structured benchmark tasks for AI training.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support rapid, secure deployments across cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Implement and manage containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Configure and optimize AWS infrastructure with IaC tools such as Terraform, focusing on cost efficiency and resilience.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze outage causes, propose mitigation strategies, and embed lessons into training datasets.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to provide actionable insights into system health.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with hands‑on work in CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudWatch) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform.
- Solid understanding of incident response, root cause analysis, and post‑mortem processes.
- Excellent scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation and data processing.
- Effective communication skills to translate technical incidents into clear, actionable documentation.
