Senior DevOps Engineer driving scalable, secure cloud infrastructure for space mission workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high availability and rapid deployment of mission-critical applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters for mission-critical workloads on AWS.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and ArgoCD to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Provision and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, ensuring reproducible and auditable environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with software, security, and operations teams to enforce best practices, security hardening, and compliance across the stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps experience in a high‑scale, mission‑critical environment.
- Proficient with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS).
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash and experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and Git workflow.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication abilities.
