Devops Engineer
DevOps Engineer supporting global equity finance systems, delivering automation, cloud infrastructure, and continuous delivery for stock loan, repo and swap platforms using Python, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS to support high‑throughput equity finance applications.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, automating build, test and deployment processes for both vendor‑supplied and in‑house systems.
- Containerize legacy and new services using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Collaborate closely with trading desk engineers to translate business requirements into reliable, production‑grade solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and drive continuous improvement of reliability and latency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering within a financial services environment.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform).
- Experience with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
