Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, while driving automation and continuous delivery pipelines for a 2‑year contract role.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, secure cloud environments on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, and S3.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Containerize applications with Docker, orchestrate with Kubernetes, and manage cluster lifecycle, scaling, and monitoring.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation, ensuring repeatable, version‑controlled deployments.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enforce best practices, perform code reviews, and conduct security hardening.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize resource utilization using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Proficient with AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
