About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Implement secure, high‑throughput REST APIs and integrate with external services.
- Write efficient SQL queries and manage relational database schemas.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS using services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
- Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes or ECS.
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, and DevOps to deliver high‑quality releases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
- Hands‑on experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience deploying Java applications to AWS and using Docker for containerization.
