Software Engineer
Provide on‑site and remote desktop support, install and configure Windows 10, hardware, and network devices, and resolve incidents using analytical tools to ensure reliable IT services for clients.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, printers, telephone systems, and Windows 10 operating systems.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot client networks and connectivity issues.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system problems promptly, minimizing downtime.
- Create, track, and analyze incident tickets using ITSM tools, applying root‑cause analysis to implement lasting solutions.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to support complex business applications and ensure compliance with security policies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in desktop or help‑desk support within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 deployment, Active Directory, and common office productivity suites.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues across multiple platforms.
- Experience with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and a methodical approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
