Software Engineer
Desktop Support Engineer L1 responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows, Linux, and macOS systems, troubleshooting hardware and network issues, managing antivirus and backup solutions, and ensuring smooth operation of mail clients and server OS deployments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems on desktops and servers.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware component and peripheral issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic network connectivity problems, including wired and wireless setups.
- Install, update, and manage antivirus software and backup solutions for data protection.
- Configure and troubleshoot mail clients such as Outlook, ensuring reliable email communication.
- Perform regular system maintenance, asset tracking, and report updates to the Key Technical Account Manager.
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and peripheral installation.
- Basic understanding of network protocols and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Experience with antivirus and backup software deployment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to document technical issues and solutions.
