Software Engineer
Lead a team of desktop engineers to design, deploy, and support Windows desktop infrastructure, corporate applications, and endpoint management solutions while providing technical direction and hands‑on expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of desktop engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows desktop environments, including imaging, patching, and configuration management.
- Oversee deployment and support of corporate applications using SCCM, PowerShell automation, and other tooling.
- Define and enforce standards for Active Directory, group policy, and endpoint security across the enterprise.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex desktop incidents, providing expert troubleshooting and resolution.
- Collaborate with security, networking, and service‑management teams to ensure compliance with ITIL processes and service‑level objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Windows desktop engineering, including SCCM or similar endpoint management platforms.
- Strong expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in a fast‑paced, enterprise environment.
- Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM practices and incident/ problem management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
