Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining automation tools for asset management, ensuring high quality, timely delivery, and alignment with ITIL processes and organizational standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy code for asset management projects using Python, Java, and SQL, ensuring adherence to time, quality, and cost standards.
- Maintain and enhance existing asset management systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support client requests.
- Apply ITIL best practices to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and maintain documentation.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration pipelines to uphold code quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software development with Python, Java, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and scripting.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and asset management principles.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills in English.
