About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement econometric models to forecast market trends and assess risk for banking products.
- Develop and deploy machine learning pipelines, including NLP and large language model solutions, to extract insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with data engineers and product managers to translate analytical findings into business strategies and operational improvements.
- Lead a small team of analysts, providing mentorship, code reviews, and performance guidance.
- Prepare executive‑level presentations and reports, translating complex statistical results into clear, actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, econometrics, and machine learning within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical packages (e.g., R, Stata, SAS).
- Hands‑on experience with NLP libraries (spaCy, Hugging Face) and large language model deployment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
