Lead CMS’s agency‑wide IT strategy, overseeing cloud, cybersecurity, data analytics, and vendor partnerships to deliver secure, scalable technology solutions for Medicare and Medicaid services.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the agency’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with CMS mission and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in cloud migration, cybersecurity initiatives, and data analytics projects.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee performance to meet service level agreements.
- Drive IT governance, risk management, and compliance across all technology platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and report progress to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including program and project management.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Proven track record in data analytics, vendor management, and IT governance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning skills.
