About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CIO to develop and execute the agency’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with mission, policy, and legal requirements.
- Oversee enterprise architecture, cloud migration, and cybersecurity initiatives, driving modernization and resilience across all FCC locations.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in the design, implementation, and maintenance of mission‑critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement processes to deliver cost‑effective, compliant solutions.
- Develop and enforce IT governance frameworks, risk management practices, and compliance with federal security standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including enterprise architecture, cloud, and cybersecurity.
- Deep knowledge of federal IT procurement, compliance, and security frameworks.
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to deliver complex, multi‑site initiatives on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team‑building abilities.
