About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Chief Engineer to design, implement, and maintain multi‑cloud architectures on AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Lead DevSecOps initiatives, integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines and automating compliance checks across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters, container registries, and related tooling to support scalable, resilient application deployments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Mentor engineering staff on best practices for cloud security, infrastructure as code, and continuous delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with hands‑on expertise in AWS and Azure.
- Proven track record in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline design, and automation using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and related ecosystem components.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical initiatives in a collaborative environment.
