Engineering Manager
Lead an enterprise deployment engineering team to design, build, and operate automated alerting and backend services across AWS and Azure, driving reliability, scalability, and continuous delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional engineering team responsible for end‑to‑end deployment pipelines and alerting automation for enterprise workloads.
- Architect, implement, and maintain highly available backend services on AWS and Azure, ensuring compliance with security and performance standards.
- Drive CI/CD strategy, integrating tooling such as Terraform, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions to enable rapid, reliable releases.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations stakeholders to define service level objectives and incident response processes.
- Continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and incident management frameworks to reduce mean time to resolution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience building and operating large‑scale services on AWS and Azure.
- Proven track record leading engineering teams in automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
- Strong expertise in designing alerting and observability solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus).
- Solid programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for tool development and automation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a focus on delivering reliable enterprise solutions.
