About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line and advanced support for Ubuntu desktop environments and connected devices across enterprise deployments.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues using diagnostic tools and log analysis.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve support efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve complex incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Document solutions, update knowledge base articles, and share best practices with the support community.
Requirements
- Proven experience administering Linux (Ubuntu) desktops in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of device drivers, peripheral integration, and network protocols.
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) and familiarity with configuration management tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL processes is a plus.
