About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement predictive and prescriptive models to identify safety risks and improve clinical quality metrics.
- Analyze large, multi‑source healthcare datasets (EHR, claims, operational) to generate actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visual reports that communicate findings to clinicians, administrators, and leadership.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define analytic requirements, validate methodologies, and integrate models into decision‑support workflows.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data hygiene, reproducibility, and statistical rigor.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience applying statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization in a healthcare or life‑sciences environment.
- Proficiency in Python and R for data manipulation, modeling, and automation.
- Strong SQL skills for extracting and transforming large relational datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable recommendations for non‑technical audiences.
