Lead security operations for data center environments, ensuring robust threat detection, incident response, and compliance across AWS and on‑prem infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls for data center infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption solutions.
- Monitor security events, conduct real‑time threat analysis, and coordinate incident response across cross‑functional teams.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS).
- Collaborate with network, operations, and cloud teams to integrate security best practices into deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data center or cloud security operations.
- Strong knowledge of network security, threat hunting, and incident response methodologies.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, KMS).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
