Lead AI and data engineering initiatives as a Databricks Solutions Architect, designing end‑to‑end solutions, creating technical content, and driving ROI for global clients using Spark, MLflow, Python, and SQL.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to architect and deliver complex AI, engineering, and analytics solutions on the Databricks platform.
- Develop and present technical content, demos, and best‑practice guides to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Design scalable data pipelines, machine‑learning workflows, and production‑grade notebooks using Spark, MLflow, Python, and SQL.
- Advise on architecture, security, governance, and cost optimization for large‑scale data workloads.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the Databricks community within the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or senior data engineer with a focus on Databricks.
- Proficiency in Spark, MLflow, Python, and SQL; experience with Delta Lake and data lakehouse patterns.
- Strong communication skills and a proven track record of delivering client‑facing technical presentations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data governance best practices.
- Passion for AI and a desire to shape the future of data‑driven solutions.
