As a Database Support Engineer for the APAC region, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers in the Asia-Pacific area. You will work closely with our engineering team to resolve complex database issues, optimize database performance, and ensure the overall health of our database infrastructure. You will also be involved in the development of new features and tools to improve our database support capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective support to customers in the APAC region via email, phone, and chat.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve complex database issues and optimize database performance.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our database infrastructure, including database architecture, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize new feature development and tooling to improve database support capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base articles to improve customer self-service capabilities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in database support and maintenance, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of database concepts, including database architecture, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Experience with Python, Node.js, and AWS is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
