About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement database infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, ensuring modular, reusable code.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, and patching of relational and NoSQL databases through CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor performance, capacity, and security, applying best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and compliance.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to integrate database services into application workflows.
- Document infrastructure designs, runbooks, and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing database infrastructure in cloud environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar) and monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
