Project Scope:

Seeking an experienced Database Developer(SQL) to support critical public health data initiatives, including datawarehouse modernization, data pipeline enhancements, disease surveillancesystem integrations, and electronic case reporting (eCR) solutions. Theconsultant will play a key role in designing, developing, optimizing, andsupporting complex database solutions, ETL processes, reporting systems, anddata migration initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertisein SQL Server, T-SQL development, ETL processes, SSIS, data warehousing,healthcare data integrations, and large-scale data management. This rolerequires close collaboration with database administrators, data integrationteams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable,and reliable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop,and maintain complex database solutions and data integration processes.
• Develop andoptimize SQL stored procedures, advanced queries, and database performance.
• Design, build,and support ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Develop,troubleshoot, and maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.
• Support datawarehouse initiatives, reporting solutions, and business intelligencerequirements.
• Convert andmodernize legacy data processes, including migration of SAS-based solutions.
• Create andmaintain process documentation, data flow diagrams, and technicalspecifications.
• Gather businessrequirements and perform gap analysis with stakeholders.
• Support diseasesurveillance systems, electronic case reporting (eCR), and healthcare dataintegrations.
• Parse and processmultiple data formats including XML, CSV, SOAP, and HL7 messages.
• Support datamigrations, testing, validation, deployment, and post-production supportactivities.
• Monitor andtroubleshoot production data processing and integration workflows.
• Implementautomation solutions to improve efficiency, reliability, and data quality.
• Assist with dataclassification, security compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technicalleadership, best practices, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
• Collaborate withvendors, business users, and technical teams to deliver project objectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years ofexperience with Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL development.
