Detail‑oriented Database Administrator responsible for maintaining and securing supporter data across multiple hospice sites, ensuring data accuracy, performing backups, and optimizing database performance to support fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update supporter records daily, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all hospice databases.
- Design, implement, and monitor backup and recovery strategies to protect critical fundraising data.
- Perform performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization to guarantee fast and reliable data access.
- Develop and enforce data integrity rules, validation procedures, and audit trails.
- Collaborate with fundraising and IT teams to integrate new data sources and support reporting requirements.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator, preferably with SQL‑based systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Strong knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery processes.
- Hands‑on expertise in performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and security.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with non‑technical stakeholders.
