Entry‑level Database Administrator focused on managing, securing, and optimizing MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases across cloud and on‑prem environments using Terraform, Python, and Bash.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high availability, performance, and integrity of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot incidents and implement solutions.
- Automate database provisioning, configuration, and monitoring with Terraform, Python, and Bash scripts.
- Manage database security, backups, and disaster recovery plans across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.
- Participate in change management, capacity planning, and performance tuning initiatives.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands‑on database administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure automation tools.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python and Bash.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
