About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable database solutions on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning for PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
- Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery strategies are robust and tested.
- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and provide proactive recommendations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator in cloud environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, and related cloud services.
- Knowledge of database security, compliance, and backup/recovery best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team.
