Data Tester Banking & Investments - Voodoo Park

We are seeking an experienced Data Tester with a strong banking and investment management background to validate reporting and analytics data solutions within a modern Microsoft Fabric data platform. Working alongside Data Engineers and Data Architects, you will validate source-to-target data movement, verify business rules and transformations, perform reconciliations, and ensure the quality and integrity of reporting data. The initial focus will be on functional and data validation rather than test automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Test end-to-end data pipelines.
• Validate source-to-target transformations and business rules.
• Verify data quality and integrity.
• Perform reconciliations.
• Execute regression, integration and functional testing.
• Work with Data Engineers to resolve defects.
• Support the gradual introduction of test automation where appropriate.
• Participate in Agile delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Commercial Data Tester or ETL Tester experience.
• Strong ETL/ELT testing experience.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience validating data pipelines.
• Experience reconciling source and target data.
• Experience executing functional and data validation testing.
• Agile experience.

Contract Details

• UK-based
