About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data‑based systems that acquire, prepare, store, and provide access to data and metadata.
- Build and manage custom reports using application‑specific reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Apply database design principles to support report writing and data extraction requirements.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders to shape report design and technical solutions.
- Evaluate reporting tools, design optimal reports, and select the best delivery method for end users.
- Provide training and ongoing support to staff across business areas on report development and data usage.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database design.
- Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of enterprise reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and report delivery mechanisms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
