Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement predictive models and statistical analyses to support pediatric research and clinical decision‑making.
- Develop scalable data pipelines and analytics workflows on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) using Python, R, and SQL.
- Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and engineering teams to translate complex data into actionable insights and visualizations.
- Lead exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and validation of findings across large, multi‑modal health datasets.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best‑practice standards for reproducible research.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or related).
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience applying machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining to biomedical or health‑care data.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL; experience with cloud services such as AWS (S3, EC2, SageMaker) is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex analytical results to interdisciplinary audiences.
- Track record of publishing research findings or delivering data‑driven solutions in a clinical or research environment.
