💻 The Role
We’re looking for a Data Specialist to own our data pipelines, analytics, and reporting end-to-end. You’ll design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports used across the company, ensure data accuracy and reliability, and proactively identify anomalies or issues before they impact decision-making. Working closely with engineering and business teams in a fully remote environment, you’ll play a key role in helping the company operate as a truly data-driven organization.
Responsibilities:
Data Infrastructure: Manage and optimize end-to-end pipelines and data warehousing using Stitch and Google BigQuery .
Business Intelligence: Design, build, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reporting suites within Looker Studio .
Web Analytics: Coordinate with engineering to set up and validate Google Analytics tracking; provide on-demand analysis and custom reporting for cross-functional teams.
Data Integrity: Execute rigorous validation protocols to ensure all reported data is 100% accurate and trustworthy at all times.
Expectations:
Data validation / Attention to detail - all dashboards and reports must be double checked. We are relying heavily on data and we must trust data reported is 100% accurate at all times.
Proactive anomaly detection - build a system in such a way that you can spot and report anomalies and proactively detect and solve issues in reporting or analytics.
High level of organisation - work must be organised, documented and tracked (Trello, Slack deployment logs).
